Welcome to the Southcoast - your home for fine four-stringed instruments. March 15, 2012: We’re Building Again!! As a small importer, in order to comply with the requirements of CITES and the Lacey Act, we’ve had to re-work our wood selections. We are extremely pleased with the results, and as a result of these efforts, we will be the first company to offer a “passport” for your instrument. No need to worry about customs when you carry a Southcoast! We invite you to check back often, as certain aspects of our designs have changed. The site will be gradually updated until the first new instruments become available this summer. While there are new woods and new features, our basic concepts remain the same.
